Frequently asked questions
How do I add parts to my van?
Open the app, go to the Parts catalog tab, find the part, and tap the + Add button. Or use the new AI tab to type or speak a list (for example "five 1/2 inch copper elbows") and confirm the matches.
How do I label where parts are stored in my van?
On the My van tab, every part shows a small Bin field under its name. Type whatever label you use (A3, Top shelf, Driver side door). It saves automatically and appears on your restock list too.
Can I use VanTrack on my phone?
Yes. Open getvantrack.com on your phone's browser and sign in. On iPhone, tap Share then "Add to Home Screen" to install it like an app. On Android, the browser will offer to install it automatically.
How do I add a tech to my van?
Sign in as the owner, open the van manager, and add the tech's email address. They'll get access the next time they sign in with that email.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Email
quayden.tebbs@getvantrack.com from the address on your account and we'll cancel right away. Access continues to the end of your current billing period.
I forgot my password. What now?
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email. You'll get a reset link within a minute or two. Check spam if it doesn't appear.
My low stock alert isn't firing.
Each part has its own alert threshold. On the My van tab, tap the part, set "Alert when ≤" to your minimum, and the part will count as low stock once it hits that number. You can also enable browser push notifications when prompted.
Can I export my data?
Yes. The Restock tab has an "Export as text" button for your shopping list. Job summaries can be printed as PDF from each job's detail view. For a full data export, email us.
My voice button says "not supported".
Voice works in Chrome, Safari, and most modern mobile browsers. Some embedded apps and older browsers don't support it. The text input always works as a backup.
